In my previous post I made a partly embroidered illustration. Previously I made a silscreen print with the same technique, it is called “Lagartija” (Chinese lizard). Instead of the line to draw, I had embroidered lines with black thread. The flat picture get volume. The wire gives his own shadow. I also stuck two pieces of Chinese newspaper. One of the two is released from the background, and so this creates its own shadow. From paper to reality, from ink to thread, from the flat plane to the three-dimensionally.
