Just like painting or drawing on paper, you can do this on porcelain. There are special paints for this material. I use the Pebeo brand. www.pebeo.com. There is a wide variety of colors. I start drawing with one pen and then use the colors. I draw with a pen of the same brand. Use in order to make the drawing more interesting pens with different thicknesses. You have to be allowed to dry for 24 hours and then in the oven for 35 minutes at a temperature of 150 ° C. In this manner, the work adheres well to the porcelain. You can also paint on glass, ceramic or metal. I will confess that I do not dare to wash the artwork.
This is also great fun to do with children. My children have made these works when they were 6 and 7 years old. Help them a bit with mixing colors and to clean brushes. You can buy supplies in www.hobbywinkel-cre-actief.nl or www.pipoos.com.
